Comelec s.r.l. since 1995 it has been assembling connectors in military standard MIL 5015 and 26482 under license from Amphenol and ITT CANNON VEAM.
Circular Connectors Assembly
With the aim of providing a high added value service and to guarantee rapid delivery times, licensed assembly contracts have been stipulated with Amphenol and ITT Cannon Veam, as the only assemblers on the national territory.
In fact, connectors from the MS, 97B, GT, CA, CA-COM, CIR VG95234, PT, PTSE, CMB, VPT, KPT, VG95328 families are built in our factories. These families of connectors are now widely used in the industrial and machine tool, mining, medical and military sectors and wherever high degrees of reliability are required.
railway and transportation sector
In the railway and transportation sector, connectors from the CIR, FRCIR and FRCIR-GG families are used with bodies covered in highly insulating Halogen Free rubber.
The connectors can be supplied with surface treatments of cobalt zinc with green or black passivation, nickel plating, cataphoresis and cadmium plating for military equipment. For the new needs of the market, the anti-reflective gray zinc nickel treatment, resistant to salt spray for 500 hours, was lastly developed. For both the MIL-C-5015 and MIL-C-26482 series, products that also comply with UL and CSA regulations can be assembled.
