Comelec is pleased to inform you that from June 1, 2023 it has expanded its “Power” product portfolio with a new partner: Basic Semiconductor.

Basic Semiconductor is a company that develops and manufactures Silicon Carbide (SiC) devices and gate drivers for discrete, IGBT modules and SiC modules.
The SiC technology available to Basic Semiconductor covers the entire production process: epitaxial growth, design of its own chips, development of new packages and materials.

The SiC products offered by Basic Semiconductor include discrete Schottky diodes (SBD) and SiC Mosfets, both discrete and power modules.

The gate driver portfolio is very broad and ranges from single capacitively coupled chips, both non-isolated and with reinforced insulation, up to complete driver boards for silicon and SiC power modules.
